๐ฟ Cohort 12 in Write of Passage is a wrap. This bootcamp was a big change, with a curriculum that challenged students more than ever to write the essay only they could write, with high quality and individuality.
Thanks for the shoutout, Matt! I made a similar mistake about 10 years ago, selling/donating my parents large collection of vinyl albums when we moved out of my childhood home. What was I thinking?! This just planted the seed of maybe starting my own collection. Great read!
I, too, at times regret getting rid of both my vinyl and CD collections during housing moves. (Mostly my complete Beatles vinyl collection.) But for me, I donโt have the energy or headspace to replace them. Spotify will have to do. What was the most compelling reason to return to physical media, Matt?
It's fun, it's affordable, it's nostalgic, streaming services have a way of disappearing music without warning, it's a way to connect with my oldest daughter, it's music I own, not rent, there's something that quiets my brain when I pop in a CD and commit to actually listening to an entire album ...
Thank you, Matt! So appreciated your leadership in WOP and itโs fun to see your love for music
Thanks for the mention!!! I'm so honored!
